What support do we offer our existing customers?

Powys County Council offers its existing customers a range of tools to support them process their DBS applications. This includes:

1:1 telephone guidance available during working hours.
Same day email response.
Applicant, verification officer and administrator guides to the online system.
Bespoke training guides for larger organisations.
Three days of free training sessions for larger organisations.

Who are our existing customers?

We currently process the DBS checks for over 200 smaller organisations and 8 local authorities. Over a hundred DBS checks are submitted to the national DBS every day and our accuracy rating is 99.94%. The seven local authorities, who have chosen to use Powys County Council as their umbrella body are:
