Ystradgynlais Library
Ystradgynlais Library will be closed from Sunday 7 January to Sunday 14 April 2024 while works are undertaken, and improvements made, to the building and facilities. Normal opening hours are expected to resume from Monday 15 April 2024.
During the temporary closure period, you will still be able to access library services in a variety of different ways, including a relocation of some library services to The Welfare Hall, Brecon Road, Ystradgynlais, Swansea, Powys, SA9 1JJ as follows:
- Borrow and return books.
- Access laptops with free Wi-Fi
- Print, scan, and photocopy.
- Use the Council Customer Services Access Point.
- Borrow Digital Tech Loans.
You can also borrow and download eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines 24/7, online, in the usual way, and access library services at any other Powys Library branch too.
You can contact Ystradgynlais Library on 01874 612394 or at ystrad.library@powys.gov.uk during its temporary relocation, and the opening hours for library services at the Welfare Hall are:
- Monday: 10:00 - 17:00
- Tuesday: 10:00 - 17:00
- Wednesday: Closed
- Thursday: 10:00 - 17:00
- Friday: 10:00 - 13:00
- Saturday: 10:00-12:30
- Sunday: Closed
