Residential Care Workers

Our Home

Powys County Council and Powys Teaching Health Board in partnership are opening a Therapeutic Children's Home, one of a kind, in our local community and we need your help.

Our home is set within the idyllic rural countryside of North Powys, near the peaceful village of Llanbrynmair. It's a spacious residence with three bedrooms, sleeping accommodation for staff, therapy room, comfy snug, living and dining area that open out to a large garden.

Our home will support 3 young people (Age 11-18) with complex emotional and behavioural difficulties due to their early life experiences.

As part of a dedicated team, you will create a safe home that will improve placement stability and parenting capacity to support children and young people with the most complex needs to achieve positive outcomes, improve their life chances and social well-being.  This unique opportunity in Powys will enable us to support children in their own communities, as part of our vision to enable children to stay closer to home.
