Farming Fit

Faming Fit is an outreach programme delivered in partnership between Powys County Council (PCC), Powys Teaching Health Board (PTHB), and Powys Association of Voluntary Organisations (PAVO).

The project aims to develop a tailored outreach service that is accessible and appropriate to the specific health and social wellbeing needs of the farming community in Powys, supporting stronger farm businesses and healthier farming communities.

Launching at the 2024 Royal Welsh Agricultural Show, Farming Fit will see healthcare professionals, Powys County Council staff, and members of the voluntary sector visit livestock markets in Welshpool, Brecon, and Builth Wells monthly from August to December 2024.
