Report a lost or stray dog

A stray dog is any dog found somewhere that it shouldn't be, without its owner or someone representing its owner.  We are responsible for collecting stray dogs and keeping them until they're claimed by their owners.

What we do

If your dog is found roaming the streets it may be taken to one of our stray dog kennels. It will stay there for 7 days to allow it to be claimed. You will need to pay a fee for your dog to be returned. This covers the cost of keeping it in the kennel. If a dog isn't claimed after seven days, it will be re-homed.

What do I do if I find a stray dog?

Contact us. Our details and an online report form are at the side of this page. We will arrange for the dog to be collected.

What do I do if I lose my dog?
