Council Tax and Business Rates

The Council Tax and Business rates phone lines will be closed Wednesday 20 November 2024 due to staff training. Our phone lines will be open as normal Thursday 21 November 2024

Register for My Account and add your council tax / business rates reference number to your profile to see a full account summary online and download a copy of your bill. To avoid queuing to speak to an advisor, we would encourage customers to use these online facilities where possible. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience.

If you have any concerns over your bill or the amounts you have already paid, please contact us directly either via email revenues@powys.gov.uk or via telephone 01597 827463.  Do not respond to phone calls or any text messages you may receive suggesting you may be eligible for a refund or a banding reduction as we are aware that fraudulent organisations operate in this area.
