Detail of Route: Byway open to all traffic LC296 (Monks Trod) Rhayader. Motorcycle access will be permitted to byway LC296 from Carn Ricet (point A) at OS grid ref SN871709 to the county boundary with Ceredigion at the River Claerwen (point B) at OS Grid Ref SN823682 for up to 3 (three) specified days from 1st September 2022 for the duration of the Order. These will be a combination of designated permit days that are arranged and overseen by the County Council; and by prior arrangement with the Council, events run under Regulation 5(c) of The Motor Vehicles (Competitions and Trials) Regulations 1969 (also known as a 'Road Safety Rally.') Permit days arranged by the Council will be advertised on the Council's website, via Social Media and by informing members of the Powys Byways User Group. Conditions will apply to use by motorcycles on these dates, details of which are set out in the Order and can be provided on request.
