Help with voting
Two weeks before polling day, we send out a poll card to all electors, which shows the date, times and place for the poll. We try to make sure that as many polling stations as possible have disabled access.
At every polling station:
- There will be notices at the polling stations to help voters. These will show who the candidates are and give general guidance.
- There will be a device to allow blind or partially sighted voters to vote on their own in every polling station.
- At least one large-print version of the ballot paper will be displayed inside each station.
- Disabled voters may bring someone to help them to vote.
