This is a new role and will be key in improving contract management across the organisation. The postholder will have a strong knowledge of contract management principles and will be the operational lead for improving contract management across the Council. Key activities will include, developing a standard framework of contract management processes, improved supply chain risk identification and mitigation, plus, leading a training and skills development programme to improve contract management skills across the Council.
