The Careline alarm, when triggered, alerts a member of the Careline team who will call for help from a neighbour, family member or the emergency services.
Smoke detector
Potentially a life-saving device, the radio smoke detector provides additional protection by raising an instant alarm call to our Careline staff.
In addition to the smoke alarm, the Fire Service is able to offer you an additional piece of equipment which will enhance the system. They will install, free of charge, a Tunstall Smoke Alarm. This alarm will automatically connect to the call handling centre should it activate due to the presence of smoke. If you, the occupier, are unable to answer Careline or make a call to the Fire Service, Careline will call them for you. The alarm will not increase any fees you pay for your Careline System.
